Ingoldisthorpe's Allotments can be found to the South of the ISSC and to the West of Lynn Road (B1440).
There are over 40 allotments in Ingoldisthorpe. Currently there are no vacancies. Contact the Clerk to to add your name to the waiting list.
The annual inspections take place each August. Prizes were awarded to a record 6 plots in 2022 (see the image gallery). Well done to the winning plots!
MEMORIAL ORCHARD GARDEN
At the centre of the allotments there is a Memorial Orchard Garden for all Parishioners and those with a connection to Ingoldisthorpe. Created in 2018 through funding from Orsted, the Borough Council and the Tree Council. It was officially dedicated on 28th April 2019 by Reverend Mark Capron.
The garden features 13 Norfolk native apple and pear trees for the 13 servicemen lost in WWI and WWII from Ingoldisthorpe and has a huge Christmas tree at its centre.
Two competitions were run at Ingoldisthorpe Primary for the Memorial Orchard Garden. The lower school submitted pictures they had drawn to advertise the dedication and the upper school wrote poems for the opening ceremony. Enjoy browsing the images below:
